What public content Benchmark processes
Benchmark processes supported public profiles and posts on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X. It also processes public web pages that a customer identifies with an explicit link.
For this policy, public content means content available without a private account or access grant. Public content can include names, handles, biographies, captions, titles, links, timestamps, engagement metrics, account and content identifiers, text excerpts, and media metadata.
Benchmark organizes supported public content into Basic and Enriched results. Basic results contain supported identity, text, state, and metrics. Enriched results can add supported content structure and analysis.
Why Benchmark processes public content
Benchmark processes public content to provide content research and analysis. Customers use results to understand public content, identify patterns, and inform their content work.
Service boundaries
Benchmark does not provide private or login-gated content. When a source indicates that content is private, Benchmark returns that no public result is available.
Benchmark does not offer or sell personal profiles as a people-search product. Customer responses contain only the structured fields described in the documentation. They do not include stored media links, full transcript artifacts, or a dedicated transcript field. Enriched results may contain selected source-text excerpts. Those excerpts can reproduce a complete short script.
Request a correction or removal
If public content identifies or shows you, you can ask us to correct or remove it from Benchmark. You can also make a request if you hold rights in the content. This route covers results and gallery examples on benchmark.app and benchmark.social. You do not need an account. Send privacy requests to privacy@benchmark.app.
Include this information so we can identify and review the request:
- The exact public content or profile URL.
- The platform or website where the content appears.
- Whether you want a correction or removal, and what you want us to change.
- Your relationship to the content, or your authority to act for the rights holder.
- Enough contact information for us to reply.
Do not send passwords, API keys, or other sensitive credentials. We may ask for more information to verify your identity, authority, or request. We review requests and respond within applicable legal deadlines. Send copyright and other legal concerns to legal@benchmark.app. A change at Benchmark does not change the original source or copies independently retained by a customer.
